Since the first time since 1930, the name of the shop is written as Purnama ... it appears in the owner's photo when he was photographed in front of his coffee shop ... not Poernama ... So it seems better not to be changed ... :)
arabica and robusta Kopi Aroma Banceuy
is it open today?
Jam 6.30 pa..
In the form of a cafe since 1930
No. The owner also celebrates Christmas
Buka
There is no special parking for bicycles, you should bring a bicycle lock and tie it to the nearest pole
Back to the past.. delicious food and coffee at "warung kopi Purnama"
nostalgia, great ambience.
Nice old place since 1930, good atmosphere, and nice and friendly staff. Food is good, and all is clean. I liked it 👍
The restaurant has a very vintage vibe. Chicken porridge is so tasty as well as the gado-gado (vegatable with peanut sauce).
Lovely place with a historical features.Great food, great ambiance, reasonable price.Great for breakfast, nice for lunch, enjoyable for early dinner.Known for ice coffee, toast, and nasi goreng.
Love the bread, its very soft, love the coffee, the authentic vibe.. put it in my must-visit list. Try roti selai srikaya (picture below is roti mentega gula panggang)
Good place good vibe. I love the “old town” chill vibe of this place. They even preserved the old bandung architectural style pretty well. The food are simple. Everyone should definitely try their Srikaya bake toast. It’s amazing with perfect level of sweetness. We also ordered the egg tofu (tahu telor) dish. So far it’s one of the best egg tofu I’ve tried in Bandung. Overall, deserve a 5-stars
The bread delicious for both sweet and salty. The coffee not so acid. One of recommended breakfast place before you go to get some street photograph hunt
Surpringly deliciousNot pricy, a lot of choiceWill come back for sure
I'm loving this place! I love the ambience, the patterned tables and chairs, Oh! And also the coffee! And the legend roti srikaya! It's a must try! This place is legend, and everyone must visit this place when in Bandung.
Some menus are good but rest are so so.
I love places with stories and this coffee shop lives up to its legendary name. Food was great, bc though considered snack they are tasty and fulfilling. Please note that no parking space and the shop has no AC to stay true to its classical style (established in 1930, so you stay for the vintage warm feeling, as if you're in your friend's grandma's house).
One most of Legendary Coffee..best laah
Coffee is absolute best. The environment and design brings you back to colonial dutch as you can see from the high ceiling and old furniture. Best for reading books, could be better for the meal part tho
old style coffee shop , very famous in bandung
A cozy place to have chit chat, you better go to the corner. There are comfy chairs and instagramable corner. Love the ambience. Feels like grandmas house. The coffee, ice/hot, is good. I think its KOPI AROMA which is so famous in Bandung. I love the roti mentega palm sugar the most eventhough its roti sarikaya is more famouse but i don't like the taste.
Start a Sunday morning here is lovely, have a cup of coffee with toast bread and a bowl of porridge is my favourite routine. Perfect...👍. The service is good, a bit slowly when it's crowded...
Breakfast has never been the same... Love the egg toast and tahu telor. Superb
Good food. So many people in the morning. Old Bandung Vibe, nice. Services are good. Cleanliness are okay.
Always loved the original vintage ambience of this cafe. Always returned here whenever i hit Bandung. The food was good, but the original coffee selection was the King & Queen of the menu
The place has been served since 1930's. This is one of the oldest coffee shop in town.. For coffee lovers, choosing Es Kopi Hitam will be a great choice. Muslims should be aware of their cooking appliances and cutlery, since they also serve non-halal food.
A classic place to visit when you are in Bandung. Kinda hard to find as it is located in a small street, and you might miss it since they only put a small signboard outside. It is an old eating place, established since 1930. The owner still maintain the original interior decoration and its traditional vibes. The foods there are delicious. You should try the saeikaya bread, the chicken porridge, and the black coffee (kopi tubruk). The service attitude is good. Highly recommended.
Always my first pit stop in Bandung.. good place to stop over after driving from Jakarta, planning the rest of the day over good cup of coffee and finger food selection is excellent. I usually ask for less salt on the food and less sugar in the coffee, though..
Currently (2019)it is managed by the 4th generation, a legendary coffee shop with an old school design that has been restored so that it looks fresh, it is not easy to maintain a family business like this because it requires high commitment and innovation as well as the obligation to utilize marketing through social media in order to survive from time to time. Quite comfortable just hanging out here while enjoying food that is mostly characterized by delicious peranakan cuisine. This coffee shop has the characteristic of "Srikaya Jam" which is identical with Malaysian Chinese, Singapore Chinese, and Chinese around North Sumatra ... because the pioneers of this coffee shop, Mr. Yong A Tong came from the city of Medan who migrated to Bandung and establish a coffee shop in 1930..
Old school place. It's nice to see some old man having their morning coffee while reading the newspaper on weekdays. I like their Sarikaya steam bread.
Good coffee with old-fashioned vibes. It has roti srikaya homemade as one of their recomended menu and the truth is, I've tried it and I think everyone who comes must try their roti srikaya.
One of the legendary breakfast place in Bandung, with classic options of food and beverage.
Classic place & tasty food 👍😍
Good place for hangout with friends or family. They serve traditional coffee and many kind of food. Best menu is kopi susu. You can enjoy free wifi here.
Old school but everlasting
Its such a historical cafe to visit by. Good coffe, good food, good vibe. Its very nice to drink a coffe for an hour in this place
For a not coffee-whiz, the food is so so.But the place itself is a nice place, very vintage yet nostalgic.
Good vibe. Food was so-so. Affordable price. Tempatnya lumayan luas. Dont know if it's halal or not. Deket pusat keramaian
Standard coffee and pastries, rates so so, old town ambience, it's close to train station, an option to relax while waiting for my train. Find a nice cold sarsaparila.
I eat sausage bread and half boiled eggs, with iced coffee. the food was great. the place is typical colonial style. non smoking area is on the back side of the building.
The oldest coffee shop in Bandung. Try for coffee milk and srikaya bread and you will love it. Either hot or cold coffee milk both of them are delicious. They have soft bread with soft srikaya / sugar apple jam. We can pay by gopay and get 10% cashback. I love the ambience, really bring me to the old town of Bandung just like riding time machine
This place is one of the legendary Kopitiam in Bandung which was established in 1930. This place gives oldschool vibes and offer comfort food. Yummy!
The vintage ambience is quite nice. The original kaya jam with steamed bread taste is good.
Opened early in the morning, thus being a perfect place for breakfast. Had quite some problem finding the location as I was not familiar with the area. Food was okay, but the ambience was nostalgic - a strong plus point for me. Would come back again when I'm in town.
recommended and affordable authentic local cuisine. you'll come back for more 👍🏻
Overrated and smokers in almost every corner, small section for non smoking zone with smokers air pollutions flows freely to non smoking zone
Always be my old time fav for hommies breakfast. The menu is very simple but reminds constant for the taste. The coffee is pretty strong.must have also is srikaya toast.
Although to be fair, I only had the congee that you buy from outside Purnama. So this 5⭐ is for them 👌
Quaint old style coffee shop since 1930, quite autentic
Decent food, very slow service especially on weekend. Our orders werent input even after asking several time. Not worth your time.
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I try coffee with milk and steam bread from this legendary restaurant in Bandung. Amazing taste. I see in the menu, lots of delicious food such as bacang, fried rice, noodle etc. Place: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ amazing ambience, old style interior but quite clean and open early in the morning (before 07.00 AM). Dining area large and there is small open area in the back.Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for a good coffee and breakfast, the price not that high... really worth it.
Always love to have breakfast here(+) almost all menus are good. Recommended: roti kukus mentega gula and roti gulung telur ham keju. Yummyyy(+) my all time favorite is kopi susu tubruk panas(+) homy ambience(-) better come on weekday for breakfast. Weekend usually very busy and you have to queue (-) parking space share with other shops, limited space
Had the opportunity to visit again with friends in the evening. Taste is still the same. Service could be quite slow. Usually is very busy on weekends in the afternoon, and yes could be very smoky 🚬🚬🚬
This place is great and their coffee is phenomenal. On the other hand, this place is very unsanitary and it is filled with fumes of smoke from cigarettes. This place was adequate overall but i would say that it is very overrated.
It's a good place to have breakfast, love the bread, the purnama fried rice is also nice. The coffee however just ordinary
